– It takes on average 1.5 – 2 seconds to startup. However, it is not a suitable surveillance camera for two simple reasons: It has the best color quality, stabilizer and parameters. The Canon HF G30 is an awesome camera and the camera I would recommend for hobby recording. I did not find any other cameras in the 2015 series that would be possibly suitable for surveillance purposes.
This year I am reviewing the following cameras: The V550 had a technical glitch with the recording button, so I never converted to the V550.
The updated version of the Panasonic V520 came out in 2014 named the V550. I purposely skipped 2014 camera reviews last year as nothing new and game changing was out. This is a very quick review of new surveillance cameras in 2015.
